This position is based in Sidney, OH, and is built for a results-driven Mechanical Project Manager who also wears the estimator’s hat when needed. You'll take charge of mechanical construction projects from bid to closeout with the authority and ownership needed to ensure profitability and project success.
Your core responsibilities include:
Preparing full mechanical estimates for commercial/industrial projects
Reviewing specs, drawings, and attending pre-bid meetings to assess full scope
Managing awarded contracts including scheduling, job costing, submittals, and invoicing
Leading field operations, ensuring schedules are met and manpower is optimized
Visiting job sites regularly and attending site meetings
Handling change orders, project financials, and profitability analysis
Communicating with internal teams and clients to keep jobs on track
Submitting final close-out documentation and project warranty materials
Reporting monthly to senior management on project status and financials

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management and estimating
Proven track record with commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical projects
Experience with new construction, plan/spec, and conceptual estimating
Strong computer skills: BlueBeam, Microsoft Office, OnScreen Takeoff, CAD, and other PM software
Knowledge of plumbing construction systems and project flow
Strong communication, leadership, and client-relations skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
