Your New Role

This position is based in Sidney, OH, and is ideal for a Mechanical Project Manager who thrives in a dual role that blends leadership with estimating expertise. You’ll run projects from initial bid through completion, with the autonomy and responsibility to ensure success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and submit full mechanical estimates for commercial and industrial projects

• Review drawings, specs, and participate in pre-bid meetings to fully define scope

• Manage contracts post-award, including job costing, schedules, submittals, and invoicing

• Oversee field teams, manage manpower, and ensure timelines are met

• Attend job sites regularly to monitor progress and resolve issues

• Process change orders and monitor project financials to ensure profitability

• Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to keep projects aligned

• Handle closeout documentation and final project warranties

• Provide monthly progress and financial updates to senior leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical project management and estimating

• Proven success managing commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical projects

• Proficient in both plan/spec and conceptual estimating for new construction

• Experience with BlueBeam, Microsoft Office, OnScreen Takeoff, CAD, and other project management tools

• Understanding of plumbing systems and construction processes

• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills

• Valid driver’s license
