As a Mechanical Project Manager based in Owings Mills, MD, you’ll be the driving force behind commercial HVAC projects across the Baltimore-Washington area. You’ll work closely with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, and your in-house team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
Conduct site visits, lead meetings with foremen and subcontractors
Manage project scope, including takeoffs, pricing, estimating, and change orders
Communicate with customers and GCs to ensure seamless execution
Oversee installation of HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, ductwork, zoning systems, IAQ solutions, boilers, chillers, and central plants
Coordinate subcontractors for cranes, insulation, welding, balancing, and more
Ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction on every job

Proven experience in HVAC project management or mechanical construction
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems: RTUs, split systems, ductwork, VAV/VVT, IAQ, boilers, chillers, central plants, and hydronic/steam systems
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, designs, and SMACNA standards
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Windows 10, and load calculation/drawing software (Visio or similar)
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and client relationships
Solid problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely access equipment on job sites
Professional appearance and conduct at all times
