As a Low Voltage Technician, you'll install, service, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain a variety of low-voltage systems for residential and commercial customers. This position is based out of Winter Park, FL, with travel to customer locations throughout the service area.
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, service, and maintain low-voltage systems
Work with fire alarm, access control, automatic gate, security alarm, CCTV, and other electronic systems
Diagnose system issues and perform repairs or routine maintenance
Troubleshoot IP-based connectivity issues affecting CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and other low-voltage systems, including device communication and basic network configuration
Complete service documentation and job records accurately
Communicate professionally with customers regarding system performance and recommendations
Work independently or alongside other technicians depending on project needs
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices

Experience working with one or more low-voltage systems
Experience with fire alarm systems, automatic gates, access control, CCTV, security alarms, or related technologies is preferred
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and IP-based low-voltage network systems
Working knowledge of basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, device connectivity, ports, and network troubleshooting as they relate to low-voltage systems
Experience installing and servicing IP-based CCTV, access control, or other network-connected low-voltage systems is preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn additional low-voltage systems through cross-training
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license
