Your New Role

This position is based in Conroe, Texas, with a service area that includes Greater Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and surrounding regions. You’ll be responsible for the following:

• Lead and supervise a team of security technicians during installations and service calls

• Install and configure CCTV systems, access control, intrusion detection, intercoms, and more

• Run and terminate CAT5/6 cables with accuracy and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve security system issues

• Conduct thorough system testing and ensure compliance with safety standards

• Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and offer tailored solutions

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all work performed

• Train and mentor junior technicians, raising the bar for team performance

• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors to meet project goals

• Stay updated on industry trends, products, and emerging technologies

• Willingness to travel as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in low-voltage systems preferred)

• 3+ years of experience installing and maintaining low-voltage security systems

• Proven experience leading or supervising technical teams

• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, and intercoms

• Familiarity with brands like Honeywell, DSC, Power G, IQ4, or similar

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

• Proficient in troubleshooting and using electrical testing tools

• Comfortable with physical work: lifting, climbing, and confined spaces

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills

• OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus
