Commitment to safety, communication, and quality execution
Support commercial construction projects based in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, with projects throughout Eastern and Central Michigan and occasional out-of-state travel
Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution from pre-construction through completion
Manage and track construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal teams
Maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports using construction management software
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Monitor project progress and help resolve scheduling, field, and cost challenges
Support multiple projects at once, typically 2 to 5 depending on size
Contribute to ground-up and renovation projects ranging from $500K to $4.5M
Travel to job sites approximately 1 to 2 days per week while supporting office operations

Construction experience including internships, field experience, or assistant project management exposure
Exposure to commercial construction projects preferred
Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, education, or similar commercial sectors is a plus
Background with a general contractor or subcontractor
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Familiarity with construction documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project is a plus
Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle for job site travel
OSHA 30 certification is a plus
CPR or First Aid certification is a plus
