Your New Role:

As a Journeyman Plumber with Moore Mechanical, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing complete plumbing systems in residential and light commercial applications.
• Demonstrating motivation and flexibility to handle responsibilities on both commercial and residential job sites.
• Overseeing crews of 2-10 plumbers, providing effective leadership and guidance.
• Maintaining a valid plumbing license to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Attending weekly job meetings and coordinating with the General Contractor's on-site Supervisor.
• Ensuring work compliance with engineering specifications and local building codes.
• Maintaining accurate work logs, including job sites, time, equipment, materials, and recommendations for follow-up.
• Working with minimal supervision, applying skills and independent decision-making to deliver superior quality work.
• Training and mentoring apprentices to foster the next generation of skilled plumbers.

This Job Isn't for You If:

• You don’t have a valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing License in MI.
• You lack at least 3 years of lead plumber experience.
• You’re not physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs., climbing up and down ladders, or fitting into tight places.
• You’re not skilled at using power and hand tools.
• You don’t possess excellent communication skills (oral and written).

This Job Is for You If:

• You have a Journeyman or Master Plumbing License in MI.
• You have 3+ years of lead plumber experience.
• You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• You are physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
• You are skilled at using power and hand tools.
• You possess excellent and effective communication skills (oral and written).
• You are authorized to work in the US.
