Pay

  • $30.00-$42.00/hour depending on experience 
  • Profit Sharing

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled electrical work including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to effectively plan and execute electrical projects.
  • Install and troubleshoot wiring, circuits, conduits, and electrical components, ensuring proper connections and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to assess electrical needs, provide cost estimates, and contribute technical insights for project planning.
  • Mentor and oversee apprentice electricians, offering guidance, training, and supervision to ensure the development of their skills and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment, including inspections, testing, and replacements to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects to facilitate efficient documentation and billing processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies to remain proficient in modern electrical practices and equipment.
  • Coordinate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction and renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and implementing safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries.

Job requirements

  • Possession of a valid State of Nebraska Journeymen's License in electrical work, demonstrating compliance with state regulations and standards - Required
  • Proven experience in working on commercial electrical projects, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of commercial electrical systems, codes, and practices
  • Desired 3+ years of experience in the electrical field, highlighting a consistent and progressive involvement in various electrical projects
  • Proficient knowledge and application of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards specific to the State of Nebraska
  • Adeptness in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to commercial electrical installations
  • Dedication to professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic, aligning with the company's values and principles
  • Must have a Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record 
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
