Your New Role

• Work from Agoura Hills, CA, while supporting residential projects throughout the Malibu service area

• Assist Interior Designers with space planning and interior layouts

• Create and update AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and details, under designer direction

• Assist with furniture, fabrics, lighting, materials, fixtures, and finish selections

• Build and maintain specification binders and material libraries

• Assist with material schedules, fixture schedules, and purchase order documentation

• Track vendor orders, lead times, and deliveries

• Prepare client presentation materials using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint as needed

• Participate in project site visits to collect measurements, notes, and photographs

• Communicate with vendors and assist with samples, returns, filing, and project coordination

• Maintain accurate design documentation and organized project files

• Collaborate with Senior and Associate Designers while developing practical interior design and project management skills

• Education or experience in interior design, residential design, or a related field

• Proficiency with AutoCAD

• Working knowledge of SketchUp

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Experience with Dropbox and Adobe Acrobat Pro

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments

• Attention to detail and ability to take initiative

• Willingness to learn and collaborate with senior team members

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to travel to project sites within the service area as needed
