What’s in It for You?

  • $30 to $36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

  • Approximately $62,400 to $74,880 per year based on a 40-hour workweek, before overtime

  • Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The regular schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Project and shutdown schedules may require longer shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • Overtime opportunities based on project and customer needs

  • Required travel to customer facilities and industrial project sites throughout the United States. Assignments may involve several weeks away from home, particularly from October through January.

Your New Role

  • Work as an Industrial Electrician based in Ellabell, GA 31308, supporting industrial electrical projects at customer and project sites

  • Serve customer and project sites in Savannah, GA, and throughout the United States.

  • Perform industrial electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and construction

  • Install, maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, equipment, wiring, circuits, and related components

  • Support automation systems, electrical controls, factory integration, plant maintenance, and capital projects as assigned

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation

  • Use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively

  • Identify electrical problems and complete safe, accurate, and code-compliant repairs

  • Coordinate with electricians, craftsmen, project managers, engineers, and other project personnel

  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, electrical safety, quality, accuracy, and timely project completion

  • Travel between the main Ellabell location, Savannah service area, and customer or project sites throughout the United States as required.

  • Represent Automation Systems & Controls, Inc. professionally while working at customer facilities and project sites

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting experience required

  • Demonstrated professional skills relevant to industrial electrician work

  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, circuits, controls, and equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation

  • Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and electrical safety practices

  • Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools

  • Ability to serve customer and project sites in Savannah, GA, and throughout the United States.

  • Travel is required based on customer and project needs

  • Local candidates in the Savannah, Georgia area are strongly preferred

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week, with schedule flexibility and overtime based on project requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
