  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial settings, focusing on control circuits and motor control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to control circuits and motor control equipment, ensuring minimal downtime in a Mining Sand and Gravel operation.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Motor Soft Starts, utilizing this expertise to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Safely work with electrical systems operating at 600 volts or less, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians and engineers to plan and execute electrical projects, ensuring they align with industry best practices and project goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment inspections, and repairs, contributing to a comprehensive maintenance and compliance program.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and electrical codes to consistently provide high-quality service and support for the Mining Sand and Gravel operation.

Job requirements

  • Completion of MSHA Training (a plus)
  • Must be able to pass a driving test 
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record 
  • Be available for on-call duty as needed
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in the field is highly desirable
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally work up in heights
  • Must be able to consistently lift and carry 25-50 lbs as needed 
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
