Your New Role

As a Vanport HVAC Technician, you’ll go beyond simple repairs. In this role, you will:

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues swiftly and accurately.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems to their peak performance.
• Install system accessories like thermostats and air purifiers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and warranty services.
• Promote system upgrades and service contracts to customers.
• Maintain an organized vehicle with all necessary stock, tools, and safety equipment.

• HVAC Technician (EL06A in Washington, LEB in Oregon) with EPA Universal Certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of HVAC Technician experience.
• CFC universal qualification.
• Ability to lift/move at least 75 lbs.
• Proficient with basic hand tools, meters, and hand-held electronic devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
• Clean background check and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
