Pay

  • $40,000.00-$140,000.00 annually (determined upon skills and experience)

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of heating and cooling systems in residential buildings.
  • Respond promptly to service calls from customers and provide efficient and effective solutions to address their comfort needs.
  • Conduct planned maintenance activities on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential issues.
  • Install new heating and cooling systems in residential buildings according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Inspect existing systems to identify any malfunctions, leaks, or inefficiencies and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Diagnose problems with heating and cooling systems by utilizing troubleshooting techniques and specialized tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service, maintenance, and installation activities.
  • Communicate with customers to explain the scope of work, provide cost estimates, and obtain necessary approvals before proceeding with repairs or installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, including work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for the customer.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and product knowledge through continuous learning and training opportunities provided by the company.
  • Collaborate with other team members and share expertise to support a high level of customer satisfaction and team performance.
  • Adhere to company standards for professionalism, customer service, and work quality.
  • Strive to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of heating and cooling systems to progress within the company and receive yearly wage increases.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper storage and handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort needs are met.

Job requirements

  • Possess EPA 608 certification
  • Hold a valid Oklahoma State Mechanical Journeyman's License
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate technical skills in installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing heating and cooling systems
  • Ability to conduct inspections and perform tests on system components to ensure their operational and safety effectiveness
  • Ability to conduct heat loss/heat gain calculations to determine the appropriate sizing of HVAC systems for residential buildings
  • Ability to perform comprehensive inspections of clients' HVAC systems, identifying potential issues and recommending preventive measures to avoid future breakdowns
  • Basic knowledge of Service Titan is preferred
  • Have a general knowledge of power tools and techniques for their care and safe use
  • 3+ years of experience in the HVAC trade
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Reside within a 20-mile radius of Oklahoma City
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
