Pay

  • $50,000.00-$90,000.00 annually
  • Performance-based bonus of $20,000.00

Responsibilities

  • HVAC Equipment Service and Repair: Perform service and repair tasks on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) equipment, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective solutions. This involves repairing or replacing faulty components, ensuring proper functionality, and restoring equipment to optimal performance.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent potential issues and ensure their smooth operation. This includes performing routine inspections, cleaning, lubricating parts, checking electrical connections, and identifying any signs of wear or potential problems.
  • System Testing and Analysis: Utilize testing equipment and tools to analyze the performance of HVAC systems. This may involve measuring temperatures, pressure levels, airflow rates, and energy efficiency. Interpret test results to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their HVAC concerns and providing recommendations for repairs, maintenance, or system upgrades. Clearly communicate the scope of work, estimated costs, and necessary timelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities, including documenting work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations or observations. Prepare service reports and provide detailed information to supervisors or clients as needed.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies during all HVAC-related tasks. Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, follow safety protocols, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest industry advancements, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems. Seek opportunities for training and professional development to enhance technical skills and expand knowledge in the field.
  • Equipment Inventory and Maintenance: Manage inventory of HVAC parts, tools, and equipment. Keep track of stock levels, perform regular inspections, and ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate readings and efficient operation.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, such as supervisors, technicians, and support staff, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Share knowledge and expertise, assist colleagues when needed, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism, and offering expert advice. Foster trust and customer loyalty through reliable and efficient HVAC service delivery.

Job requirements

  • Hold a valid EPA card (Environmental Protection Agency) and OSHA 10 certification
  • Demonstrate above-average communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Possess a solid understanding of refrigerant gases and proficiency in electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC systems
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the HVAC industry, showcasing knowledge and hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair work
  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record & own a set of basic hand tools necessary for HVAC work
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
