Your New Role

As an HVAC Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for residential and commercial customers across Portland, OR, and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including VRF, ductless systems, and commercial refrigeration equipment.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC issues to deliver top-tier service.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.

• Leading and supervising work activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

• Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

• Growing and supporting the HVAC department by delivering outstanding results and mentoring team members.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Journeyman license is not required but is a huge plus

• EPA Type II Certification (required)

• CFESA and NATE certifications (preferred)

Experience:

• 3-5 years in HVAC maintenance, service, or installation

• Experience in commercial refrigeration and/or commercial kitchen equipment repair (preferred)

• Commercial, VRF, and ductless system experience (preferred)

Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Knowledge and skills in HVAC system maintenance and service

• Proficiency in commercial refrigeration and HVAC system maintenance

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces

• Comfortable working on ladders and roofs

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

• Drug-free and clean professional appearance

• Strong people skills and a professional demeanor
