Responsibilities
Perform commercial installations of HVAC, Refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment, adhering to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Execute residential AC installations, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct routine maintenance services for residential AC units, including cleaning, inspection, and necessary repairs for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair commercial appliances, such as refrigeration units or industrial-grade AC systems, using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on residential and commercial HVAC systems and all commercial kitchen appliances.
Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and safety standards during installations and maintenance services.
Accurately complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining maintenance procedures, and offering professional recommendations.
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and ice machines.
Diagnose and identify malfunctions in refrigeration systems, electrical components, and controls.
Conduct routine inspections to assess the condition of refrigeration equipment and recommend appropriate maintenance or repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance and repair activities.
Collaborate with team members and provide technical support to junior technicians when needed.
Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and repairs performed.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and address any concerns they may have.
Stay updated on advancements and best practices to enhance technician skills and knowledge.

Job requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair and maintenance, demonstrating a solid foundation and understanding of commercial maintenance, and some HVAC practices
Experience in commercial HVAC maintenance is preferred
Possession of a valid driver's license, with a willingness to undergo a DMV Record Screening as part of the hiring process
Must have own tools for the job
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal refrigeration technician training program is a plus
Ability to learn dispatching software via iPad
Proficient in reading and interpreting data from a voltage meter and HVAC gauges
High aptitude for working independently and collaboratively within a team
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Capability to work in extreme temperature conditions
Proficient in diagnosing and efficiently repairing various refrigeration issues
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Possession of EPA Section 608 Universal Certification for handling refrigerants is preferred
Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems, their components, and electrical controls
Authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory
