Your New Role

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service residential HVAC systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections

  • Service air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, ductless mini-split systems, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment

  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigerant, and performance-related issues

  • Conduct system performance testing, airflow evaluations, and equipment assessments

  • Identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate repair solutions

  • Communicate findings and repair options clearly and professionally with homeowners

  • Complete service documentation, work orders, and job notes accurately

  • Follow manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company procedures

  • Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused approach during service visits

  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to deliver exceptional service experiences

  • Serve residential customers throughout Richmond, VA and surrounding Central Virginia communities

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred

  • EPA Certification required

  • NATE Certification preferred but not required

  • Strong HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation

  • Experience servicing and repairing air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and ductless mini-split systems

  • Knowledge of HVAC maintenance, repair, and system performance best practices

  • Understanding of airflow, ventilation, ductwork, and indoor air quality principles

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to explain technical findings and repair recommendations clearly and professionally

  • Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Valid driver's license that meets company driving requirements

  • Ability to safely perform the physical duties required for residential HVAC service work
