Responsibilities

• Plan, control, and coordinate sheet metal field labor, including manpower schedules by job, assignments, and appropriate employee skill levels
• Assign and dispatch sheet metal labor to jobs as necessary.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring competent sheet metal employees as needed to fill job openings within the field.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems/concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  
• Attends job turnover and understands the specific goals of each project.
• Coordinate with subcontractors before the job begins to eliminate as much field conflict as possible.
• Assist Field Leads with the vendor-approved buyout/room schedule reviewed for purchase.
• Address any quality control issues that may arise.

• Computer literate to include Excel Spreadsheets and Word documents a plus
• Understands commercial sheet metal work and can read plans and specifications
• Able to meet the needs of customers in a professional, courteous manner, without compromising ethics and standards of performance
• Able to build and grow a commercial sheet metal team, lowering warranty issues and improving quality control
• Understand mechanical codes, installation procedures, and SMACNA standards
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
