Responsibilities

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert service and maintenance for residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Below are the essential job duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems in residential homes.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Install and configure HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform system tests to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Job requirements

  • EPA Certificate (Type 1 and 2)
  • Must have advanced HVAC troubleshooting skills
  • 3 years service experience Some sales experience is a bonus
  • Driver's License and adequate driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to get in basements and crawl spaces when needed, on call some nights and weekends
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
