Island Heating and Air, LLC, is a locally owned Nebraska business owned and operated by Greg Geis. Island Heating and Air offer air conditioning and heating systems to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We service all makes and models. We stock Bosch, Mitsubishi, and American Standard. Our company will also provide emergency services.

Accurately diagnosing HVAC system issues and identifying the root causes of problems.
Serving as a member of ad hoc Service Department teams which are organized to conduct HVAC servicing jobs promptly and efficiently.
Performing routine HVACR service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
Assisting the Senior Service Technician(s) in the training of other Island Indoor Climate employees on service-related subjects, including call-back prevention and equipment protocols.
Conducting point-of-work sales of IAQ services, unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and residential service contracts.
Developing lead referrals for the sales staff.
Provide emergency HVAC repair services to our maintenance agreement customers.
Conducting non-service work in support of the IAQ and Installation Departments, as assigned.
Performing related duties as directed by the Service Manager.

2+ Years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician required
Possession of a current operator's license
Must be insurable by the Company's insurance carrier
Journeyman Mechanical License a plus but not required
Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Must be authorized to work in the US.
