  • $20.00-$100.00/hour
  • + Performance Based Commissions

Responsibilities

  • Installation and Replacement: The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the professional installation or replacement of HVAC equipment. This includes following proper procedures, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • HVAC Equipment Maintenance: The Technician is responsible for performing regular maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment. This includes inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The Technician must also identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions promptly to prevent equipment breakdowns or system failures.
  • Inventory Management: The Technician is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of parts, equipment, and tools required for HVAC service and installation. This involves monitoring stock levels, organizing inventory, and restocking as needed. Proper inventory management ensures that the Technician has the necessary resources readily available to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Truck Inventory and Maintenance: The Technician is responsible for maintaining the inventory and organization of their service truck. This includes regularly restocking supplies, tools, and equipment, as well as ensuring the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition. The Technician must also report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly to ensure safe and reliable transportation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: The Technician is responsible for accurately documenting all work performed, including installation details, maintenance tasks, repairs, and any recommendations for future service or equipment upgrades. Clear and thorough documentation is vital for maintaining accurate records, providing excellent customer service, and facilitating effective communication with the team and management.
  • Customer Service: The Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients. This includes being professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, answering customer inquiries, explaining service procedures, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. The Technician must strive to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive company image.

Job requirements

  • 1-2+ years of relevant HVAC experience desired but not required
  • Technical aptitude
  • Must have HVAC working knowledge
  • A plus to have Minneapolis and St. Paul competency cards
  • Knowledgeable with excel, Microsoft, outlook, and scheduling software (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record 
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
