Your New Role

As an HVAC Service Technician in Mahopac, New York, you will:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including central air conditioning, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, PTAC units, gas, propane, and electric heating systems

• Service hydronic and geothermal systems

• Perform routine maintenance, seasonal tune-ups, and system performance evaluations

• Identify system inefficiencies and recommend repair or replacement options to customers

• Test electrical components, refrigerant levels, airflow, and system controls

• Ensure all repairs meet local and state mechanical codes and manufacturer specifications

• Accurately document service calls, diagnostics, and repairs using ServiceTitan and related field service software

• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and professional job site

• Deliver a high-quality customer experience with clear communication and technical expertise

• Travel throughout Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess counties

• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service and diagnostic experience

• EPA Certification required, Universal preferred

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues

• Experience servicing heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ductless systems

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and interpret technical manuals

• OSHA 30 and SST certifications preferred or willingness to obtain

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds

• Authorized to work in the United States
