Responsibilities
Lead the installation and replacement of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various residential and commercial settings.
Supervise and guide installation teams, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring work quality.
Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule HVAC installation projects, ensuring timely completion and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients to review project specifications, address concerns, and provide updates on installation progress.
Ensure that all HVAC installations adhere to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Oversee the setup of HVAC equipment, including ductwork, wiring, piping, and other system components.
Perform quality checks on completed installations and testing systems for proper functioning and performance.
Train junior technicians on proper installation techniques, safety protocols, and company procedures.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, to integrate HVAC systems within larger construction projects.
Troubleshoot complex installation challenges and provide innovative solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of installed equipment, specifications, and any modifications made during the installation process.
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to HVAC installations.
Assist in the procurement of necessary tools, equipment, and materials for installation projects.
Participate in pre-installation site visits to assess project requirements and provide recommendations.
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions, explaining installation procedures, and ensuring satisfaction.
Provide input to improve installation processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce potential issues.
Lead by example in adhering to safety guidelines and fostering a culture of safety awareness among the installation team.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at installation sites, promoting professionalism.
Collaborate with the maintenance and repair team to share insights from the field, contributing to continuous improvement.
Support the company's commitment to environmental responsibility by ensuring proper handling of refrigerants and waste materials.
Abide by company policies, ethical standards, and reporting procedures, promoting a positive work environment.

Job requirements
5+ years of previous relevant experiencerequired (6-10 years of experience highly desired)
Possession of a valid EPA certification required
Excellent communication skills
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record with no major violations
Must be able to pass a background check with a clean record
