Pay

  • $25.00 - $45.00 hourly - Pay is contingent upon years of experience, with consideration given to previous employer references, reflecting your expertise and contributions to the field

Responsibilities

  • Execute precise installations of air conditioning and heating systems across diverse settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
  • Assemble and install chillers and boilers, ensuring proper configuration and optimal performance in line with project requirements.
  • Implement the installation of air handlers and fan coil units, carefully integrating these components to achieve efficient and effective HVAC systems.
  • Set up and configure controls for HVAC systems, demonstrating proficiency in ensuring seamless integration with other mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to industry standards, codes, and safety protocols throughout the installation process to guarantee the longevity and reliability of HVAC systems.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on completed installations to verify that all components meet or exceed industry standards, contributing to the overall excellence of our HVAC solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, including contractors and other technicians, to coordinate seamless installations and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including detailed documentation of equipment specifications, configurations, and any modifications made during the installation process.

Job requirements

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in tailoring installations to meet the specific requirements of residential, commercial, and industrial clients
  • While not mandatory, a preferred qualification is familiarity with kitchen and refrigeration equipment, as well as comprehensive knowledge of various refrigerants
  • 5 years of residential/commercial HVAC installation experience is preferred
  • Ability to maintain safe work practices in support of the OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards as it apply when performing the assigned duties
  • Strong oral and written communication required
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas
  • Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Ability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry material up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs, and ladders and work at extended heights.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). i.e. but not limited to, Dust mask, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
  • Working knowledge of desktop computers and Internet-based programs to perform required annual training.
  • Ability to maintain a neat personal appearance
  • This position will require a background check and drug screening
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
