Your New Role

• Work from Grass Valley, California, serving residential and light commercial HVAC customers throughout the service territory

• Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and indoor air quality equipment

• Complete HVAC system replacements, equipment upgrades, and retrofit installations

• Perform system startups, testing, and verification to confirm equipment is operating properly

• Troubleshoot installation-related HVAC performance issues

• Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, applicable building codes, and safety standards

• Use ServiceTitan to document completed work, materials, and customer interactions

• Maintain accurate HVAC installation and job records

• Explain installation findings and recommendations clearly to customers

• Keep customer work areas and company facilities organized during and after installations

• Stay current on HVAC installation methods, equipment, technology, and industry best practices through ongoing training

• Provide professional customer service while representing BAEHR Heating & Air

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation experience

• HVAC technical school certification preferred

• EPA 608 Certification preferred, with training available if needed

• Valid driver’s license

• ServiceTitan experience

• Working knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems

• Experience with HVAC equipment installation, system replacements, retrofit projects, and system startups

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, installation instructions, and equipment specifications

• Familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment

• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Effective customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ pounds

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces as required by HVAC installation duties

• Ability to travel throughout the service territory

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced HVAC environment

• Willingness to participate in ongoing technical, sales, and professional development training
