Install and assemble HVAC systems, including rooftop units, furnaces, condensers, mini-split systems, boilers, and ductwork, following specifications and blueprints.
Perform quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Connect wiring, refrigerant lines, and air ducts as required for system installation.
Test installed systems to ensure they are operating correctly and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the installation process, including equipment malfunctions or compatibility problems.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of installation work, including equipment specifications, modifications, and customer instructions.
Educate customers on operating and maintaining their newly installed HVAC systems.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, team members, and customers.
Provide exceptional customer service by establishing rapport, addressing customer concerns, and answering questions related to the installation process.
Train and mentor installation helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology to enhance knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with sales and service teams to provide input on system design and installation feasibility.

3-5 years of Experience in installation of various HVAC systems: Demonstrated experience in installing a wide range of HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, furnaces, condensers, mini split systems, boilers, and ductwork.
Strong communication skills: Ability to develop customer rapport and effectively communicate face-to-face with customers. Clear and professional communication is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Physical fitness: Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor daily in various weather conditions. HVAC installation often requires manual labor, and candidates must be physically capable of performing the tasks.
Completion of paperwork: Responsible for accurately completing all necessary paperwork with customers before leaving the job site. Attention to detail and organizational skills are required to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Training and mentoring: Willingness and ability to train installation helpers assigned to work with you. Sharing knowledge and providing guidance to others is an important aspect of the role.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. Safe and responsible driving is crucial as you may need to operate company vehicles to travel to different job sites.
Independent work capability: Ability to work independently and efficiently, taking ownership of assigned tasks and completing them with minimal supervision.
Certification and background requirements: HVAC certification is a plus, although not required. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check. Random drug testing may also be conducted.
