Responsibilities
The Residential New Construction Service Manager, specializing in heat load calculations using wrightsoft, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service operations related to residential new construction projects, with a specific focus on determining the appropriate heating and cooling system capacities for homes. This role involves managing a team of service technicians, coordinating service activities, and ensuring accurate heat load calculations for optimal HVAC system performance. The Service Manager plays a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards, managing project timelines, and resolving any service-related issues related to heating and cooling systems during the construction process. Working with homes like Grand, Gehan, Darling and Our Country Homes. We work with the best and want to continue to grow. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive heat load calculations using wrightsoft for residential new construction projects to determine the required heating and cooling capacities for each home.
Communication with builders using Hyphen.
Utilize industry-standard software and tools to perform accurate heat load calculations, considering factors such as building size, insulation, orientation, windows, occupancy, and climate conditions.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to obtain necessary data and incorporate design specifications into heat load calculations.
Lead and grow a team of service technicians, including those specializing in heat load calculations, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of service activities related to heat load calculations.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines related to HVAC system installations.
Plan and schedule service activities, including heat load calculations, to align with project milestones and ensure accurate and timely completion.
Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth service operations.
Establish and enforce quality standards for heat load calculations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, codes, and best practices.
Conduct regular reviews and quality control checks to verify the accuracy and integrity of heat load calculations.
Implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance the precision and reliability of heat load calculations.
Act as a point of contact for customers regarding heat load calculations and HVAC system performance inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
Address customer issues promptly and effectively, striving to resolve problems to their satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, promoting a positive image of the company and its services related to heat load calculations.
Maintain accurate records of heat load calculations, including relevant data inputs, calculations performed, and recommended heating and cooling capacities.
Generate reports and documentation summarizing heat load calculations, system sizing recommendations, and any additional information relevant to HVAC system installations.
Analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement in heat load calculations, proposing strategies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Job requirements
10+ years of previous HVAC Experience isrequired.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering) or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in heat load calculations for residential new construction projects, including familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of residential HVAC systems, codes, regulations, and energy efficiency standards.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in using heat load calculation software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
Must have typing, computer software adaptability, Service Titan experience, & Nexstar experience
Minimum of 4+ years experience in HVAC/Plumbing call center environment, customer service and Nexstar.
Successful completion of a background check
Negative drug test results
Must be authorized to work in the US.
