We’re looking for a Human Resource Manager who has strong experience with payroll processes, HR compliance, and hands-on use of ADP systems. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end HR functions — including onboarding, employee relations, and regulatory compliance — while ensuring smooth payroll execution and effective use of HRIS tools. Experience with California labor laws is a plus, though not required. This fully remote role requires professionalism, precision, and a proactive mindset.
Oversee payroll processing and HRIS management, with a strong focus on ADP
Handle employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, offboarding, and documentation
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and records
Ensure HR compliance with U.S. employment standards and, preferably, California-specific best practices
Respond promptly to HR issues and provide clear, professional communication
Work independently with minimal supervision, showing strong initiative
Stay organized and detail-oriented across multiple HR and payroll tasks
Maintain a reliable remote setup and consistent availability during work hours

Competitive starting pay: $6–$8/hour (negotiable depending on experience and fit)
Full-time role (client to confirm exact schedule), expected to follow California business hours
Opportunity to work in a specialized HR role supporting U.S.-based operations
At least 3 years of HR/payroll experience, including end-to-end HR processes
Required: Experience using ADP for payroll and/or HRIS
Preferred: Familiarity with California labor laws and compliance practices
Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — for accurate documentation and internal collaboration
Familiarity with Gmail or similar platforms; experience with additional HRIS tools is a plus
Stable internet and reliable remote work setup
Willingness to work U.S. hours and be available on weekends if needed
