Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, graders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment in East Helena, Montana
Perform grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and full site preparation
Complete equipment inspections before and after use to ensure safe operation
Handle routine maintenance and report any mechanical concerns quickly
Follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor direction with accuracy
Adhere to OSHA standards and job site safety practices at all times
Support the crew with general labor tasks when needed to keep projects on track
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety

Experience operating heavy equipment in construction, excavation, or site development preferred
Open to entry to mid-level candidates with hands-on ability and willingness to learn
Skilled in operating equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, graders, and skid steers
Solid understanding of job site safety practices and OSHA guidelines
Ability to perform routine inspections and basic equipment maintenance
Physically able to handle manual labor and outdoor work environments
Able to read site plans, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with team members
Valid Montana driver’s license or ability to obtain one
