Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, graders, skid steers, and other construction machinery
Perform grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
Perform preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions with accuracy
Maintain compliance with OSHA and job site safety regulations
Assist with manual labor tasks when needed to support the crew and keep projects on schedule
Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety standards

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in construction, excavation, or site development
Proficiency in operating excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, graders, skid steers, and similar heavy machinery
Strong understanding of job site safety practices and OSHA guidelines
Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
Physically capable of performing manual labor and working in various outdoor environments
Ability to follow detailed instructions, read site plans, and communicate effectively with crew members
Valid Montana Driver’s License or ability to obtain and maintain one
