Lead field operations for heavy civil construction projects in Fairview, Pennsylvania and surrounding regions
Oversee job site safety and conduct regular safety meetings to maintain compliance
Interpret and execute project drawings, specifications, and construction plans accurately
Coordinate labor, equipment, and daily work plans with the General Superintendent
Manage material orders and maintain organized inventory on site
Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and ownership representatives to address project changes
Track daily production, labor hours, and job progress documentation
Represent Chivers Construction professionally with clients and the public

Valid driver’s license, Class A CDL preferred
6 to 10 years of experience in bridge construction, heavy civil construction, or related industrial projects
Proven experience managing PennDOT DOT projects, including small bridge construction, sewer and waterline installation, linework, pump stations, or treatment plants
Experience overseeing longer bridge spans at the superintendent level is a strong plus
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and civil construction documents
