What You’ll Get

• $22 to $32 per hour, based on experience

• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule

• Work hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Work as a Heavy Civil Laborer / Pipe Layer on commercial construction projects throughout the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area

• Report to the Aston, Pennsylvania office and travel to surrounding commercial job sites

• Install storm, sanitary, and water pipe systems according to project plans and specifications

• Measure, cut, position, and connect pipe accurately

• Perform pipe laying and assist with underground utility installation

• Excavate trenches and support grading, site preparation, and other heavy civil construction activities

• Spread, level, and prepare construction materials as needed

• Follow project plans and site supervisor direction to keep work moving safely and efficiently

• Maintain organized tools, equipment, and work areas throughout the workday

• Support the crew with excavation, trenching, utility construction, site work, and other general construction labor as required

What You Need

• At least 2 years of pipe laying or heavy civil construction experience

• Underground utility installation experience preferred

• Experience with storm, sanitary, or water pipe installation is valuable

• Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction work and lift 80 pounds or more

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a construction crew

• OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation to Aston, Pennsylvania and surrounding project locations
