What You’ll Do

• Operate heavy construction equipment on commercial site development projects throughout the greater Philadelphia area, with Aston, PA.

• Safely operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and rollers for excavation, grading, and site preparation.

• Perform cut-and-fill operations, rough grading, and finish grading according to project specifications.

• Excavate trenches for underground utilities, drainage systems, and other sitework.

• Read and follow blueprints, grading plans, and site layouts to complete work accurately.

• Work alongside laborers, foremen, and other equipment operators to keep projects on schedule.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.

• Maintain safe working conditions around underground utilities, equipment, and other crew members.

• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures on all job sites.

• Travel to assigned commercial construction sites throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

What You Need

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment.

• Experience performing excavation, grading, trenching, or commercial sitework.

• Ability to safely operate excavators, dozers, loaders, or similar heavy equipment.

• Experience in heavy civil construction or commercial site development preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, grading plans, and site layouts.

• Knowledge of excavation procedures, equipment safety, and general construction site practices.

• OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with other crew members.

• Dependable attendance and the ability to work a consistent full-time schedule.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to commute to Aston, PA and travel to assigned project sites throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
