Your New Role

As a Fire Alarm Technician and Installer, you will work both independently and on a crew to install, service, and maintain fire alarm and other low-voltage systems. You'll be expected to troubleshoot and support a variety of system types across different environments, from small residential setups to complex commercial systems. This position is based out of Winter Park, FL.

• Install, test, service, and maintain fire alarm systems and related low-voltage equipment

• Support systems including access control, CCTV, security, and gate operations

• Troubleshoot and repair system issues on-site

• Interpret wiring diagrams, site plans, and technical specifications

• Communicate clearly with clients and team members

• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain accurate job records

• Follow all safety procedures and work in accordance with industry standards

• 3 to 5 years of experience in fire alarm systems, low-voltage installation, or electronic security systems

• Experience working in both residential and commercial environments

• Strong knowledge of fire alarm wiring, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and system layouts

• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, burglar alarm, and gate systems preferred

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders regularly

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to meet all applicable state licensing and industry compliance requirements
