As a Fire Alarm Technician and Installer, you will work both independently and on a crew to install, service, and maintain fire alarm and other low-voltage systems. You'll be expected to troubleshoot and support a variety of system types across different environments, from small residential setups to complex commercial systems. This position is based out of Winter Park, FL.
Install, test, service, and maintain fire alarm systems and related low-voltage equipment
Support systems including access control, CCTV, security, and gate operations
Troubleshoot and repair system issues on-site
Interpret wiring diagrams, site plans, and technical specifications
Communicate clearly with clients and team members
Operate company vehicle safely and maintain accurate job records
Follow all safety procedures and work in accordance with industry standards

3 to 5 years of experience in fire alarm systems, low-voltage installation, or electronic security systems
Experience working in both residential and commercial environments
Strong knowledge of fire alarm wiring, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics
Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and system layouts
Familiarity with CCTV, access control, burglar alarm, and gate systems preferred
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders regularly
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to meet all applicable state licensing and industry compliance requirements
