Your New Role

• Work as an Electrician based in Birmingham, Alabama (35222), serving customers throughout Central Alabama.

• Complete electrical service calls, primarily in residential settings, with some light commercial electrical work.

• Independently diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems.

• Perform electrical repairs, installations, replacements, and upgrades as required by assigned service calls.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, circuits, panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and related electrical components.

• Identify electrical issues and recommend safe, effective, code-compliant solutions.

• Complete assigned service work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.

• Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and company standards.

• Communicate professionally with residential and light commercial customers about electrical issues and completed work.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Take responsibility for assigned service calls from initial troubleshooting through job completion.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical experience, with 4 - 5 years preferred.

• Strong residential electrical experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.

• Light commercial electrical experience preferred.

• Journeyman Electrician License preferred, but not required.

• OSHA certifications are a plus, but not required.

• Willingness to obtain additional industry certifications, with company assistance available.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, troubleshooting techniques, and applicable electrical codes.

• Ability to independently diagnose electrical issues and complete assigned service calls.

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to make sound decisions while working independently in the field.

• Professional communication and customer service skills.

• Commitment to electrical safety, quality workmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
