Work as an Electrical Estimator in Colorado, supporting small to medium-sized commercial and residential electrical projects
Attend bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and pre-bid conferences
Review RFPs, electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schematics to determine project scope
Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates, bids, proposals, and material takeoffs
Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive project pricing
Build estimates using historical cost data and electrical estimating software
Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for scope, accuracy, and competitive pricing
Prepare and manage electrical change orders throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain organized estimating documentation, bid records, and project information
Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout bidding and preconstruction
Help improve electrical estimating processes while maintaining compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes

3 to 5 years of electrical estimating and electrical construction experience
Proven ability to prepare accurate project estimates, electrical bids, cost estimates, and takeoffs
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes
Proficiency with electrical estimating software
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required
Valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record
Authorized to work in the United States
