Your New Role

• Work as an Electrical Estimator in Colorado, supporting small to medium-sized commercial and residential electrical projects

• Attend bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and pre-bid conferences

• Review RFPs, electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schematics to determine project scope

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates, bids, proposals, and material takeoffs

• Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive project pricing

• Build estimates using historical cost data and electrical estimating software

• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for scope, accuracy, and competitive pricing

• Prepare and manage electrical change orders throughout the project lifecycle

• Maintain organized estimating documentation, bid records, and project information

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout bidding and preconstruction

• Help improve electrical estimating processes while maintaining compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes

• 3 to 5 years of electrical estimating and electrical construction experience

• Proven ability to prepare accurate project estimates, electrical bids, cost estimates, and takeoffs

• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes

• Proficiency with electrical estimating software

• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required

• Valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record

• Authorized to work in the United States
