Attend bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and pre-bid conferences
Review RFPs, electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schematics
Prepare accurate electrical estimates for small to medium-sized commercial and residential projects
Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
Develop estimates using historical cost data and estimating software
Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure competitive pricing
Prepare and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain accurate estimating documentation and project records
Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the bidding and preconstruction process
Support continuous improvement of estimating processes while ensuring compliance with NEC and applicable local building codes

3 to 5 years of experience in electrical estimating and electrical construction
Proven experience in preparing accurate project estimates
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
Proficiency with electrical estimating software
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required
Valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record
Authorized to work in the United States
