Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman electricians and supervisors with installing electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes for residential new construction and commercial new construction projects.
• Learn how to interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems and identify potential obstacles to installation.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of new construction projects.
• Participate in on-the-job training and safety courses to develop skills and knowledge related to residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Help troubleshoot electrical problems and provide assistance in finding timely and effective solutions, including repairing or replacing faulty wiring, fixtures, or equipment.
• Perform regular inspections and testing of electrical systems under the supervision of journeyman electricians to identify and address potential safety hazards or performance issues.

• Registered Colorado Apprentice preferred
• Ability to use hand tools and small power tools
• Ability to safely operate and maintain ladders to access electrical systems and components for installation, repair, and inspection, while adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
