Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in operating and maintaining drain-cleaning equipment, including drain snakes, augers, and hydro-jetting machines, to become a Drain Cleaning Expert within the plumbing team.
• Assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
• Learn and adhere to local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Assist in the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
• Dig trenches and excavate areas for plumbing system installation.
• Cut and thread pipes to required lengths.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Help identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Assist in the installation of water heaters and other appliances.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks like soldering, brazing, and sealing pipe joints.
• Learn to interpret blueprints and plumbing diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Observe safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in the inventory management of plumbing materials and supplies.
• Learn to estimate material requirements for plumbing projects.
• Provide assistance in customer service and communication as needed.
• Attend plumbing courses and training to improve skills and knowledge.
• Report to a supervisor and follow their instructions.
• Work alongside other team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Develop a strong work ethic and commitment to the plumbing trade.
