Your New Role

• Coordinate technician schedules to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

• Serve as the backup dispatcher while maintaining efficient daily operations.

• Manage the dispatch board to keep technicians moving efficiently throughout the day.

• Communicate proactively with customers regarding appointment updates and schedule changes.

• Coordinate parts ordering, warehouse inventory, and deliveries to support field technicians.

• Monitor check parts, equipment orders, and technician support needs.

• Assist with warehouse organization and routing of warehouse support personnel.

• Support material pricing and job quoting for technicians.

• Answer inbound customer calls and respond to online inquiries as needed.

• Follow up with customers regarding HVAC replacement options and available seasonal rebates.

• Maintain sales tracking and reporting for inside replacement opportunities.

• Provide timely operational updates to leadership and communicate urgent issues promptly.

• Help maintain technician utilization while supporting department performance goals.

• Collaborate with customer service representatives to confirm upcoming installations.

• Support both HVAC and plumbing operations by ensuring technicians have the resources they need to succeed.

• High school diploma or GED required

• Associate degree preferred but not required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, warehouse operations, or the HVAC or plumbing industry required

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Professional customer service and telephone etiquette

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dispatch and scheduling software

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Reliable, dependable, and flexible with work hours as business needs require

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds

• Ability to travel locally when business needs require

• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
