R.S. Andrews is an established commercial and residential air conditioning and plumbing company in the Bluffton area. We have been in business for almost 50 years, proudly servicing the low country and surrounding counties.

RS Andrews is currently seeking a Dispatcher for our Bluffton, SC Office to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day.

Responsibilities

Efficiently schedule plumbing service calls to ensure optimal allocation of resources and timely customer response.
Act as a vital communication link between plumbing technicians and customers, providing updates on service timelines and addressing concerns professionally.
Interact with customers to gather essential information and address inquiries.
Collaborate with plumbing technicians to address scheduling conflicts, emergencies, and unforeseen challenges.
Accurately enter and maintain information in the dispatch system for service calls, schedules, and customer interactions.
Work closely with plumbing technicians, providing necessary details and support for effective service delivery.
Demonstrate adaptability to handle changing schedules, emergencies, and evolving priorities in a dynamic plumbing environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in dispatching procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Be prepared to handle emergency service calls and swiftly coordinate plumbing technicians for urgent needs.
Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring timely, efficient, and professional service delivery through effective dispatching.
Develop and maintain knowledge of the plumbing industry for effective communication and coordination with technicians.
Collaborate with other teams, such as customer service and management, to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to plumbing service dispatching.
Generate reports on dispatch activities, service completion, and customer feedback for ongoing performance evaluation.
Provide support to the plumbing team by ensuring accurate and timely communication of relevant information for overall team success.

Job requirements

1-2 years of proven dispatch experience, showcasing efficiency in scheduling and coordinating technicians
Strong communication skills for clear interactions with technicians, customers, and team members
Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to gather essential information and ensure satisfaction
Flexible mindset to handle emergency service calls and urgent needs
Must be Authorized to work in the U.S.
