  • Answer incoming client telephone calls and recognize the importance of creating a positive first impression for the company.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism in all client interactions, whether on the phone or in person.
  • Ensure that each telephone call is answered promptly, within the first three rings, and consistently use the approved company greeting and script.
  • Notify clients in advance if an electrician will not arrive within the scheduled time window for home service appointments.
  • Contact Agreement Membership clients to schedule service appointments and make up for any repair call shortfalls.
  • Assist in various accounting activities related to client accounts and billing.
  • Compile call runs to optimize service efficiency.
  • Track and maintain records of sales figures to assess performance and results.
  • Monitor and document closing ratios for sales and service appointments.
  • Keep track of agreement renewals and proactively reach out to clients for contract extension and renewal discussions.

Job requirements

  • Prior customer service experience within a Home Service company required 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Filing and organizational skills 
  • Above-average verbal and telephone communication skills are essential
  • Must have good computer software skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
