Your New Role

Located in Fort Myers, Florida, your primary mission is to take full charge of all accounting functions for Suncoast Industries. You’ll own:

• Invoice review and vendor payments

• Project payment entries and reconciliations

• Monthly financial reporting for leadership

• Subcontractor insurance tracking and 1099 management

• WIP reporting and budget collaboration

• Vendor and developer communications for monthly draws

• Compliance with state tax and insurance requirements

• Be the go-to for all things accounting—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proactive problem-solving.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction accounting

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ComputerEase software

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, WIP reporting, and project-level accounting

• Experience managing high-volume accounting operations independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, and modern accounting platforms

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities without sacrificing accuracy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
