Our skilled commercial plumbing technicians utilize the latest technologies, including video inspection and Hydrojet services to ensure that your plumbing systems are as healthy as possible. These efforts are aimed at saving water and improving pressure and sanitation. With more than 30 fully stocked vehicles, our fleet is available to quickly respond to emergency plumbing situations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your emergency plumber should arrive within two hours or less depending on your location and situation.

Responsibilities

The Commercial Service Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing fixtures and piping used in potable water systems, natural gas systems, and sanitary and wastewater systems in a safe and professional manner while complying with local plumbing, building, and safety codes. Below are the essential job duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Reports in by 8:00 A.M. each morning M-F. Coordinates with Dispatch and receives the first call. He is responsible for that call until it is completed or transferred. He completes all paperwork and acquires the client's signature and payment if applicable
  • Communicates with Dispatch
  • Always drives safely
  • Maintains a neat and clean appearance and wears proper attire
  • Respects the client’s property
  • Listens to client requests
  • Diagnose client plumbing problems and issues
  • Offers client the best value for long-term repair
  • Communicates with the client before during and after work to keep them fully informed of progress or changes in scope
  • Communicates with Dispatch any changes to work scope, additional time needed, or additional work
  • Utilizes appropriate tools, materials, technology, and safety equipment
  • Installs or repairs as necessary to satisfy the client and comply with all codes
  • Tests for leaks after each job
  • Keeps a clean work area at all times
  • Keeps track of all materials used on the job and logs on the invoice
  • Writes estimates and invoices using technology provided
  • Ensures all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems are met
  • Ensures all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded
  • Ensures all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet or exceed the requirements of appropriate jurisdictional codes
  • Turns in a completed invoice with all materials and labor accurately accounted for
  • Turns in neat and accurate time sheets complete with the dispatch number

Job requirements

  • Must have experience in commercial service (1-2 years is preferred)
  • Texas Journeyman or Master license required
  • Must be able to utilize sink and sewer machines, and hydro-jets, troubleshoot complex situations, repair water, and gas leaks, perform gas tests, install fixtures, and all relevant plumbing repairs
  • Must have a clean driving record and current TDL
  • Be able to pass a background check
  • Be able to pass a drug test
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
