Our projects range from $10K to $3M, offering both variety and complexity to sharpen your skills
Estimate plumbing project costs for commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings
Review blueprints, specifications, and scope docs to produce accurate material takeoffs and labor cost projections
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and the bid coordinator to develop competitive proposals
Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to assess feasibility and gather key details
Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure accurate material pricing and subcontractor quotes
Use industry-standard software like Trimble, FastPIPE, and PlanSwift for takeoffs and bid submissions
Help identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to improving bid accuracy
Manage and update the bid calendar with your estimating team to ensure deadlines are never missed

Minimum of 1 year of experience estimating commercial plumbing projects
Ability to interpret blueprints, specs, and scope documents for cost estimation
Familiarity with digital estimation tools such as Trimble, FastPIPE, and PlanSwift
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with project teams and vendors
Willingness to attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed
Must be able to work full-time in person in Wilmington, NC, with flexibility for occasional early or late hours based on project demands
