$35-$40/hour, depending on experience
Monday-Friday schedule, typically 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Approximately 40-45 hours per week, with project-specific schedule changes as needed

Work as a Commercial Journeyman Plumber supporting Salas Plumbing Inc. throughout the DFW Metroplex
Report directly from home to your assigned project sites
Serve as a working foreman, staying hands-on with commercial plumbing work while leading approximately 1-3 apprentices
Perform professional plumbing work focused on commercial new construction
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and components as assigned
Read and interpret plumbing plans, blueprints, specifications, and project requirements
Complete plumbing work according to applicable plumbing codes, project specifications, and Salas Plumbing quality standards
Provide project leadership in the field while helping apprentices complete work safely, correctly, and efficiently
Use your field experience to identify plumbing issues and complete appropriate repairs or installations
Follow established safety requirements and jobsite procedures
Maintain quality and efficiency while helping projects stay on schedule
Coordinate with supervisors, project leadership, and other trades as required to complete assigned work
Represent Salas Plumbing’s standards for quality, customer focus, leadership, safety, and teamwork on every job

Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License
At least 1 year of professional plumbing experience at the Journeyman level
Commercial new construction plumbing experience
Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, installation practices, and applicable plumbing codes
Ability to read and interpret plumbing plans, blueprints, specifications, and related construction documents
Ability to perform plumbing installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work
Ability to lead approximately 1-3 apprentices while remaining hands-on in the field
PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar commercial construction software experience preferred
Ability to meet applicable background and project-badging requirements
Willingness to comply with Salas Plumbing’s drug-testing requirements
Texas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record when driving is required for the position
