As a Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Installer in Denver, CO, you will be responsible for installing and modifying HVAC duct systems on active commercial jobsites. This role is hands-on and field-driven, requiring adaptability and precision. Your responsibilities include:
Field fabrication and modification of sheet metal ductwork to meet jobsite conditions
Installing spiral and rectangular duct systems, hangers, dampers, VAV boxes, and exhaust systems
Installing and connecting RTUs, refrigeration piping, and commercial kitchen hoods
Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and HVAC plans
Coordinating with electricians, plumbers, and other trades on commercial construction sites
Leading small crews and mentoring apprentices when needed
Ensuring installations meet airflow standards, project specifications, and safety requirements
Completing daily reporting and coordinating with foremen and project managers

Minimum of 6 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience
Proven experience with RTUs, refrigeration piping, and commercial kitchen hood systems
Strong field fabrication skills and ability to adapt designs onsite
Proficient in reading blueprints and performing accurate layout and installation
Ability to write and support field change order requests
Basic English communication skills required for jobsite safety and coordination
Comfortable working at heights and in varied jobsite environments
Must provide your own basic hand tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel to surrounding project locations, including Nederland, CO
Open to relocation to the Denver area if not currently local
