Your New Role

• Lead the full estimating process from plan review through final bid submission in Bonsall, CA

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analysis for commercial construction projects

• Build, manage, and qualify subcontractor and vendor pricing

• Negotiate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive and complete project coverage

• Partner with project managers to align budgets, scope, and execution strategies

• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering

• Support business development by contributing to bid strategy and helping secure new projects

• Develop preliminary project schedules using Microsoft Project

• Utilize platforms such as Procore, Construction Connect, and Blue Book to support estimating efforts

• Proven experience in commercial construction estimating

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

• Solid understanding of construction costs, bid strategy, and project budgeting

• Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar

• Proficiency with Procore, Construction Connect, and Blue Book

• Strong communication, negotiation, and subcontractor management skills

• Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability

• Experience creating project schedules in Microsoft Project preferred
