What You Can Expect

• Annual Salary: $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time, in-office

• Location: Fairfield, CA (must live within 30 miles)

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on estimating role focused on plumbing-related commercial construction projects. You’ll work closely with the project team to prepare bids, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure estimates are complete and accurate from start to finish.

Your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing project plans and specifications for new construction and remodels

• Preparing estimates and takeoffs for labor, materials, and subcontractor work

• Coordinating and tracking bid invitations and subcontractor proposals

• Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order pricing

• Using software tools like Excel, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project to organize and present information

• Supporting project managers and office staff with job tracking and scheduling

• Attending job site meetings when needed to stay aligned with field progress

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating

• Strong understanding of commercial building systems and plan sets (architectural, civil, MEP, etc.)

• Proficient in Excel, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project

• Familiar with Procore (or willing to complete certification before starting)

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Able to manage multiple bids and deadlines at once

• Must live within 30 miles of Fairfield, CA and be available to work in-office

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional job site visits

• Comfortable working in a detail-driven and fast-paced environment
