Competitive salary: $100,000–$130,000 (salaried position with no overtime compensation)

Oversee daily on-site activities for major civil construction projects in Detroit, MI
Manage field crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient operations
Interpret plans, specs, and construction documents to keep work aligned with goals
Coordinate site logistics including materials, deliveries, and sequencing
Lead daily safety meetings and ensure strict adherence to OSHA and company standards
Serve as the communication hub between the field and the project management team
Monitor and report job progress, address field changes, and track resource use
Anticipate problems before they happen—and implement solutions fast

5+ years in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a superintendent or field leadership role
Strong working knowledge of utilities, earthwork, and roadwork
Ability to lead multiple crews and coordinate subcontractors on-site
Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting construction documents
Skilled in jobsite organization, communication, and conflict resolution
OSHA 30 certification (or ability to get it quickly)
Experience with construction software (Procore, HCSS, or similar preferred)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be open to background check and drug testing
