Responsibilities

  • Support civil engineers and planners by assisting with drafting and design tasks for various public and private projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive construction drawing sets and exhibits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with a design team to coordinate efforts and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Work under the guidance and supervision of experienced engineers, project managers, and company principals.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in the field of civil engineering, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) exam
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills including Word and Excel; knowledge and experience with Civil 3D
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently, as required
  • Ability to work on several multi-discipline projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Prior civil engineering experience is preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
